NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
Pursuant To Section 506 - Real Property Tax Law, Notice is hereby given that the Assessor for the Towns of Orangeville and Sheldon, County of Wyoming, State of New York, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year.
The Tentative Assessment Roll is available for inspection at Wyoming County Real Property at 143 N. Main St., Warsaw, NY 14569, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, and also on our website: https://www.wyomingco.net/150/Real-Property-Tax-Services
The Assessor, or someone designated by the Assessor, will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on the following dates and times: All by appointment only: May 20 thru 22, Tuesday thru Thursday, May 22th from 6-8 pm, and May 24th from 9am – 1pm. Please call 585 219-3843 to schedule one.
NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE BOARD OF REVIEW
Pursuant To Section 512 - Real Property Tax Law, the Board of Assessment Review will meet at the following times and places for the purpose of hearing and examining all written complaints in relation to assessments; Orangeville meets June 2th at their Town Office from 4-8pm. Sheldon Meets June 10th at their Town Office from 4-8pm. Complaint forms must be completed and mailed/ brought to appointment to be heard by the Board of Assessment Review. Please call 585-219-3843 for an appointment. Mail Complaint forms to Mary Kern, 1146 French Road, Attica, NY 14011. A publication titled “How To File For A Review Of Your Assessment” and complaint forms are available online at http://www.tax.ny.gov/pit/property/contest/contestasmt.htm. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the water rents of the Varysburg Water District in the Town of Sheldon shall be set at:
Number of Gallons Rate:
First 10,000, minimum $20.00
Thereafter, per 1,000 gallons $ 3.00
effective 120 days from today on January 19, 2023.
Resolution passed at the September 21, 2022 meeting of the Sheldon Town Board.
